experiment of mongo seeds?
Q. What happens with bottle 1 when mongo seeds will be put on a bottle with water and allow to stay in a sunlight for 2 days? Same thing with bottle 2 putting water mixed a detergent soap with mongo seeds in a bottle and allowing to attract the sunlight with just 2 days?

does light and darkness affect the germination of mongo seeds(there,s no mistake, its mongo not mango)?
Q. i was given an experiment on mongo seeds germination and i have to know if light and dakness will affect the germination of a mongo seeds i placed on a pot. and its in my room because they say normal temperature is the best but i have to know if it will really grow without sunlight.

A. Germination and growth ( That takes place after germination ) are two different things . Germination of plant seeds ( any plant seeds ) does not require light . It requires moisture and warm temperature. Growth , on the other hand , requires light as well ! 1 ) Take Moong Beans OR Mongo beans and soak them in water for six to eight hours ( That is overnight ) . Do not soak them for days . They will start rotting . You need not use warm water . use water at room temp. 2 ) After soaking for maximum for eight hours . REMOVE them from water and keep them wrapped in a thin cotton cloth or just keep in a covered container . Presence or absence of light makes no difference . 3 ) Next day you WILL get the sprouts .
