Q. I was wondering if anyone here lived in or lives in Indiana? Preferably the Elkhart/Goshen areas. But, if you live in Indiana, anywhere, let me know what you do for fun there? I am probably moving there and would like to know about it. HELP!

A. I am a life long Indiana resident (a Hoosier) and I lived in Elkhart for a short time about twenty years ago. Between Elkhart, Goshen and South Bend there is plenty to do. (You do know that South Bend is in the county right next to Elkhart County don't you?) Here are some links for Indiana.

A. technically only white and amber are legal cops won't give you any problems usually if you're not causing trouble or speeding I ran red lights all around for 2 years, only got pulled over once. I said it was an accident they're only for show when parked, turned em off, and he let me go worst case you get a ticket and have to remove them, tell the judge you removed them and didn't realize the obscure regulation, you'll get a free warning

A. You have to add it to any money you made working when filing. You will probably get a refund because the unemployment is less than you made working. I hope you let them tax your unemployment each check, but even if not you shouldn't owe.

Q. I had a hospital bill that has been turn over to a collection attorney firm. I have been paying them for years. The interest is now more then the orginal bill. Is there a statue of limitation in Indiana for hospital bills being collected through an attorney? What would happen if I stop paying them? A. trouble with sol they start over once bill changes hands -- other wise it would be seven years --- if you stop paying they will just go to court and put lien or wages -- only way to get out is to get a part time job and throw all of the money at the bill!!!

Q. I voluntarily quit my job in Indiana due to medical reasons and per Dr's orders. I filed for unemployment 2 weeks ago. can anyone tell me how much longer will I have to wait for a decision . A. I was under the assumption it was 30 days to respond. If they disagree with your unemployment claim then there is another 30 days to schedule a hearing. If they do not respond to your claim you will automatically win the unemployement claim. However, I wouldn't spend the money too quickly they can still appeal (and mabey win)! Good luck to you.

A. I have been in Indiana a few times, and there is NOTHING you can do about surfing there. But there are lots of good places to surf on the east coast. I started surfing in NJ 44 years ago. You can find good waves all along the east coast, they just are no where near as consistent as what you get out west, and most of the east coast just doesn't have the great climate you get in SoCal. Before you even think about surfing, there are some things you should understand. Surfing is an ocean sport, that should only be practiced by persons who are already competent ocean swimmers. A. Probably not, you would more than likely have to retest and get a license in Germany in order to be legal. If your talking about for AAFES look on their website, put in the location you will be at and see if they list any info about licenses.

A. The Treasurer is Mr. John A. Dowd. Typically you write a check payable to the Treasurer of your county, literally payable to "Treasurer of Delaware County". You could possibly be allowed to pay with cash or credit however. Cash is usable for "All Debts Public and Private" and should be able to used.

A. Have you considered Hammond? It's a suburban town in NW Indiana, on Lake Michigan, near the Illinois border.
