A. I had amenorrhea and my doctor put me on birth control to make me have regular periods. This didn't work and then I found out I have PCOS Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Amenorrhea is one of the biggest symptoms of this condition, as well as weight gain, and other symptoms, or none at all. You could ask your doctor if this is a possibility, and they can figure out where to go from there. Every doctor I have had just puts me on bc pills even though it doesn't help with anything, so I am trying to find other alternatives too. It really depends specifically to your body. If you are overweight this could be causing your lack of periods and they will more than likely come back when you lose some weight. If you want to have children soon your… [cont.]
