Q. and can you eat pumpkin seedlings as well as the seeds?
Asked by catweazle - Thu Dec 6 12:45:47 2007 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Yep, you can eat pumpkin sprouts. I'm not a huge fan of the taste, but I like them better than regular bean sprouts. Wheat sprouts grow fairly quickly. Wheat tastes really good, actually, when it's sprouted, but the sprouts are really tiny - an inch, maybe, long - they can sprout in the cold, too. I've seen corn and alfalfa seeds sprouted fairly quickly, too, though haven't sprouted them myself.
