David Wolfe, born August 6, 1970 is a raw foodist who is the founder of the company Sunfood Nutrition (previously named Nature's First Law) and the charitable organization The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation. Wolfe has a masters degree in nutrition, and a background in science and mechanical engineering. In recent lectures, David Wolfe states that he makes endorsements for Elements for Life, a multi-level marketing company that sells food and nutritional supplements Wolfe is the author of a number of books including Eating for Beauty, The Sunfood Diet Success System (7th Edition), Naked Chocolate, 21-Day Peak-Performance Weight Loss Program, and Amazing Grace (North Atlantic Books/distributed by Random House, 2008). Wolfe appeared on the 2004 reality television series Mad Mad House going by the name "Avocado". Wolfe was one of five "Alts" (so-called because of their "alternative lifestyles") who served as judges of the series' competition. There is controversy surrounding his first book "Nature's First Law" he co-authored with then associates Stephen Arlin, Fouad Dini, but some have gone as far as to accusing him and his co-authors of plagiarism. Some claim the book was "inspired" by Aterhov and his Persian book "Raw Eating". Bibliography
